Mostly we make an OGA Tanto for military purposes. It has a smaller handle and the blade is less wide. This tanto has the larger, more comfortable PEW handle and a wider, heavier blade. The thought is you can use it for longer because of the handle and because the weight of the knife will do more of the work (so you save muscle effort).
This knife has a "Persuader" on the rear, which is made from the tang and bolsters. It is wider than our glass breaker and not intended for use as such.
