Product is a hand made knife. All measurements and weights approximate.
This is a Loveless Big Bear-style Sub-Hilt fighter knife with a shortened blade. That is different from a Loveless Junior Bear or Mini-Bear in that the knife is not scaled down, rather the blade remains wide enough to leave a serious hole in the target.
The swage has been sharpened in the same manner you would an axe or Butterfly Sword. That means it will penetrate, have some ability to survive nicking and provide tip strength, but not cut paper. That said, there is a good chance law enforcement will regard it is sharp for purposes of dagger laws. If you want more, since this is 440C you can sharpen it by hand.

3) Plain Language Disclaimer: Knives are inherently dangerous. Glass breakers are also very dangerous to the user and should be used only in cases of life or death and with protective gear. Swords with sharp edges are for display only and should not be used for martial arts training. Even blunt swords are dangerous. You agree that you won't sue the Seller, designer or maker for anything related to using this product for any reason whatsoever and you (and we) really mean it!
4) We recommend against storing the sheath near the blade (including in any wood presentation box with the blade) as tanning oils and vapors cause corrosion.
