This is a full tang medium length bowie knife with front and rear welded AISI 304 stainless steel bolsters. The Blade Steel is Böhler D2 Tool Steel in a satin finish. The swage is blunt for added tip strength.
This bowie knife uses our PEW combat handle, which has an ergonomic belly and slopes down for comfort during extended use. The slope also provides torque on slices and chops and facilitates putting your body into thrusts. Bottom quillons balance assisting tactical retention with the potential need to smoothly flip between a forward and reverse grip. There is gimping on both sides of the thumb rest. The scales are made of an ironwood local to the forge; we are just calling it hardwood to avoid confusion with Arizona Desert Ironwood.
We are pleased to have donated matt finish PEW Bowies to combat personnel of the Israeli Defense Force (with fitted Spec Ops(TM) Combat Master sheaths). We are a Spec Ops(TM) dealer and can provide their military sheaths (contact us for details).
We usually have one or two of these in stock, but they are available for custom order (you can specify the blade length, handle length, materials, finish, glass breaker, etc.). If you have questions about our inventory or wish to custom order, please e-mail us.
We have graded this a second and heavily reduced the price due to a very small area of pin scratching at the front of the logo side bolster. There are extra photos of the area but the scratching is very slight and we do not see it in the pics.
Things to Consider Before Ordering:

3) Plain Language Disclaimer: Knives are inherently dangerous. Glass breakers are also very dangerous to the user and should be used only in cases of life or death and with protective gear. Swords with sharp edges are for display only and should not be used for martial arts training. Even blunt swords are dangerous. You agree that you won't sue the Seller, designer or maker for anything related to using this product for any reason whatsoever and you (and we) really mean it!
