Product is a hand made knife.  All measurements and weights approximate.

This knife was designed with input from, and for use by, law enforcement officers for heavy duty and tactical work.  Patrolmen typically carry a folding knife so there is one less thing for an attacker to grab.  Officers with more specialized tasks, including gaining entry, may require a sturdier fixed blade.  The blade on this knife is 5 mm thick Böhler D2 Tool Steel, professionally heat treated.  There is an untapered full tang, and the bolsters are dovetailed.  They are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the absolute best steel for bolsters, which is so difficult to work that few custom knife makers are willing to use it.  The quillons extend down to create a secure grip typically reserved for our military designs.  The thumb rest has an indent and small gimping.

The blade has a serious of hand-cut sawteeth designed to cut safety belts (tested with the help of our local Lexus Dealer).  There is a glassbreaker on the butt, and the point of balance is towards the rear.  Glass breakers are dangerous to use, a last resort, and we take no responsibility for any injury.  Sterile of any logo.

Special Acknowledgement and Thanks to my friend Jay Fisher for his inspiration, permission and similarities between this knife and his Alegre and Last Chance knife designs. I was aware of both when I designed this as a much different blade but feedback from police sources steered this knife to where it needed to be and that is pretty much, functionally but not aesthetically, where Jay's knives were.

This knife is a second with cosmetic, but not functional, deficiencies.  The photographs are of an unblemished knife with a sheath (no sheath is included at this price).
